2008 Volunteer TrainingVolunteer training provides citizens with the basic tools and knowledge to educate the public about earth-friendly gardening techniques. Topics include: soil health, composting, on-site stormwater management, beneficial insects, urban wildlife, native plants, invasive plants, Integrated Pest Management, vegetable gardening, and more! |

As a NBB Volunteer you will represent The NBB Program at fairs and garden shows, lectures, schools, the Earth-friendly Garden Tour, and several volunteer motivated projects. In return for the free training, Volunteers provide 30 hours of payback after the training is complete; that is less than 3 hours a month!
