The Earth-friendly Garden Tour is an opportunity for Clark County residents to be inspired by local gardeners who use natural gardening techniques. Earth-friendly gardens are healthier for children, pets and the environment.

The July 13, 2008 self-guided tour highlighted 15 gardens, with host gardeners and volunteers on hand to answer questions about alternatives to chemicals, pest remedies, and plant species that support native wildlife and thrive in urban environments. The 2008 season brought exciting growth and changes to returning gardens from previous years and five lovely new gardens.

Be sure to watch for the garden tour next summer!

Tickets are free for Clark County residents and are available by registering for the tour at several Clark County locations starting a few weeks before the tour.

The Earth-Friendly GardenTour is presented in partnership with Clark County Solid Waste Program.
